Current programming such as our Adoption Program, Military Veterans Program, and Healing Paws Pet Therapy Program create positive, impactful connections between people and animals, improving the lives of both. Anderson Humane is a resource for pet owners, providing information and services to provide better care for their pets. Services such as our Low-Cost Vaccination, Dental, and Spay/Neuter Clinics offer affordable veterinary care options, preventing owners from having to give up their pets simply because they can’t afford care. We also visit people in their homes and offer a helping hand to a pet owner in need.

It is privately funded, volunteer-based and non-profit. Free programs for LBFE elders include visiting programs, parties and celebrations, social clubs, summer vacations, essential services and intergenerational programs. Seniors ages 60 and up depend on these charities to provide them one hot meal a day, 5 days a week. There are more seniors in need than there is food and funds. Call your local senior center for the location closest to you. Volunteers visit older adults weekly for an hour of conversation & connecting over a shared interest or activity, with options of meeting in-home, in a community setting., or by phone call. A not-for-profit organization that provides temporary, loving homes for dogs and cats that no longer have families of their own.
