CJE SeniorLife 773-508-1000 www.cje.net Recruit and train volunteers to provide vital services to older adults in the community such as friendly calling and visiting, home-delivered meals, wheelchair transport, technology, assisting in gift shop, and more. Cleaning for a Reason www.cleaningforareason.org This is a cleaning service that provides free housecleaning to women undergoing chemotherapy. A cleaning service will clean her home once a month for 4 months. This service is available throughout the country. She just has to sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for services.

OUTREACH ASSISTANCE
Helps develop communities by building affordable housing in partnership with volunteers and people in need. ReStore is their resale outlet for gently-used home improvement goods, furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances. www.handsonsuburbanchicago.org Provides many volunteer opportunities in a variety of locations and settings. The library delivers books, movies, and assistive-technology such as magnifying equipment to the homebound. Volunteers are always welcome and needed to help with deliveries, stocking shelves, miscellaneous office duties, light cleaning and more.

Volunteers assist those 65 and older with friendly visits, grocery shopping and escorted transportation to medical appointments. Seniors must register for services. All services are free of charge, but a $10 donation is appreciated for the medical transportation.
