A caseworker can assist you in finding an answer to your problem or question, and help fix an error. Go to the website to search for your Representative. Smoke Detector Assistance for Seniors

Many fire departments will assist seniors, or anyone who is unable to maintain their own smoke detector with installing and replacing batteries, installing smoke detectors, and testing smoke detectors and carbon monoxide. Call your local fire department to inquire if they provide this free service. SNAP Assists with supplemental nutrition programs such as food stamps. Emergency Rental Assistance Program If you are in needed of emergency rental assistance and are currently in eviction court. The Illinois Court-Based Rental Assistance Program (CBRAP) provides funding to Illinois tenants and landlords across the state who have pending cases in eviction court. The program is only available to litigants in eviction court. Applicants may qualify for up to $25,000 in emergency rental payments that can include up to 15 months of past-due rent and three months of future rent payments to prevent eviction. 800-843-6154 Dept.
