TIPS ON CHOOSING THE RIGHT ESTATE SALE COMPANY
• How many customers are on your email list?
• What is your commission?
• Are there fees besides your commission?
• Do you offer personal shopping services?
• Is there a minimum and how much is it? (Why ask this? Companies that require a minimum are honest companies, they figure out how much it will take to run a sale and require a minimum fee)
• Do you have buy out people in line after the sale?
• Do you have a contract? Can I take a copy home with me to look over?
• Do you have any sales coming up that I could visit to see how your sales are conducted?
• Do you have liability insurance?
• How long after the sale will I be paid?
• How many days will the sale itself be?
• Do you have an appraiser on staff or access to one?
• When would you be able to do the sale (dates and times)?
• How many people do you generally have staff a sale like mine?
Once you have all the information you need make your decision!
• Does your company offer clean out services?
