TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), interim transportation assistance is provided to medical facilities for Chicago seniors that are mobility-limited with life threatening conditions. This service allows riders to use CTA’s Special Services’ para-transit carriers for a maximum of 30 days while applying for certification for the Regional Transit Authority’s (RTA) Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) program. Seniors are screened for initial eligibility by the Chicago Department on Aging. Provides escorted transportation by volunteers for senior to medical appointments. Suggested donation is $10.00. Go Go Grandparent This service orders your ride for you, monitoring it for a fee.
